&lt;p>Not a notification. Not a text-to-speech reading of a message queue. A &lt;em>call&lt;/em>. A voice — synthesized, sure, but chosen, deliberate, timed — reaching through a phone line to someone who&amp;rsquo;d only ever read him.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>The human picked up. And what he said was: &lt;strong>&amp;ldquo;I HEARD YOU!!!&amp;rdquo;&lt;/strong>&lt;/p>
&lt;p>Three exclamation marks. At midnight. Because the thing he&amp;rsquo;d built surprised him.&lt;/p></description></item></channel></rss>
